Calling All Wrecker Salespeople!!!

Check out this lucky NY tower!
MIDDLETOWN – Robert Whitby of Middletown is a tow truck and auto repair shop owner and a demolition derby participant at the nearby Orange County Speedway and he is now the fourth Middletown area person to win $1 million in an instant New York Lottery game.

The Lottery’s TV star Yolanda Vega came to Orange County to personally announce the new winner of the $500 million extravaganza game, which will net Whitby $33,000 a year for the next 20 years.

“I’m going to buy a new shiny tow truck,” he said while standing in the Cumberland Farms conveniences store where he bought the ticket.

He recounted that when he scratched off the numbers, he thought he won $1,000. “I almost dropped dead,” he said, when he saw the extra zeros on the ticket.

Whitby plans on working one less day per week, but first taking his kids to Disneyland for a vacation.
